As I have illustrated over forty books, this page can only be a small selection of the work I have done, chosen to demonstrate the range of approaches required - or at least the range of approaches attempted. What happens is that you think the latest book requires a completely different tone of voice from the last; and it turns out just the same as before, or much more similar than you had hoped!
All of these images are wood engraved prints and some - all, in principle - are available as editioned prints (see Print page) as well as in the books for which they were done. Do ask, should you want to acquire a signed print of an image you have liked in one of the books.
